3. Read II Chronicles 20: 5- 12. Discuss Jehoshophat's prayer.
a. How was this prayer all about God?
b. How does Jehoshophat praise God?
c. Verse 7 - Discuss the history that Jehoshophat refers to - what happened, where, and why does he refer to Abraham? (Genesis 15)

Discuss the following steps that can be taken to change our groove.
1. People - who are the people that you allow to speak truth over you? How? Why? How does this encourage you?
2. Scripture - discuss other scriptures that have encouraged you.
3. Memorize Scripture - What are some of your favorite verses you have memorized and how do they help you get through those difficult times?
4. God's Promise of rest and quiet. Do you have a quiet place for reflection? Where is that - how and when do you use this quiet time?
5. Speak hopeful words over others. How can this help you personally? What are some of the ways that you can exercise this step?
"It's going to be okay" - How can these words help you get through a "tough" time when someone speaks them over you?
