1. How has the start of the new school year been for you?
2. Americans spend over $13 billion a year on self-improvement. Why do you think this is?
3. What part of
Colossians 3:9-17 do you want to have within your personal life? Why?
4. What is difficult about putting on the new self for you personally?
5. In what ways can you put on the new self in your daily life?
Paul tells us in Colossians that the deepest part of who we are is to be clothed with the new self. Take some time this week and prayerfully (and graciously) reflect on the parts of you embody the new self, and the parts of you can look more like Jesus. We all have room to grow, and Jesus is the only one who can help us look like Him!
