Read: Genesis 2:18-25, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, Proverbs 15:22, 18:24, Ruth 1:14, 1 Samuel 18:3
Reflect:
1. Who are the people in your inner circle that you turn to?
2. What attributes do you need to avoid in the people you turn to?
3. Your inner circle can determine your emotional-spiritual health. When you think about the people you turn to, what is on their throne? Is it money, politics, family? Do you have someone who you can confidently say, "It is Jesus?"
4. What do you feel when someone makes direct eye contact with you for more than three seconds? Why do you think that is?
5. What famous friendship in culture or history comes to mind for you? What about in your own life? Talk about a steady friendship you have enjoyed or longed for.
6. What kinds of relationships between single and married folks are you included in? How can you be intentional about pursuing them?
Do:
1. Think of who is in your inner circle. Who do you know that has the "aroma of Eden?"
"And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed."
