Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Reflect
1. When someone says they've got good news and bad news, which do you want to hear first? Why?
2. In 2 Corinthians 6:10 Paul talks about rejoicing even in the midst of sorrow. And we learned that biblical joy is deep and resilient. Have you ever experienced that "subterranean joy" in the midst of difficult circumstances? What was the story?
3. There is joy in cultivating gratitude. Are there practical ways you have learned how to cultivate gratitude in your life? Does it make a difference for you to say it out loud?
4. What did you share that you are grateful for?
Do
1. Begin a Gratitude Journal. Each day make a single entry about what - or who - you are grateful for.
2. Create an alert on your phone or calendar to remind you to take stock of what you are grateful at least once a day.
3. Share with someone how grateful you are for them this week. It could be a handwritten letter, a text, a phone call, or something else.
