Read: 1 Peter 1:18-19, Isaiah 54:5, 10, Jeremiah 2:2, 3:1, 20, Mark 2:19-20, John 3:29, 14:1-3, Ephesians 5:25, Revelation 19:9, Matthew 25:1-13

Reflect:

1. What do you picture when you think of Jesus?  Is it a title, a story, an encounter?  Is there an image, symbol, or metaphor that comes to mind?

2. How do you respond to Jesus describing Himself as the Bridegroom?

3. Speaking of metaphors - what is your favorite song?  Do the lyrics contain any metaphors?

4. Do you have a great wedding (or wedding reception) story?  If so, share it!

5. Read and discuss Matthew 25:1-13.  What jumps out at you?
