Message: Looking Back & Looking Forward
Speaker: Greg Holder
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. - 2 Corinthians 5:17-20
If we are indeed new creations, if we really believe that Jesus turns mourning into dancing, gives beauty for ashes, turns shame into glory...then lets be ministers of reconciliation. Not because we've got it all figured out, but because we are so grateful for how we've been welcomed home that we will do what he says.
Isaiah 53, Ephesians 2, Galatians 3, Isaiah 9

Greg said we have to learn to, "listen hard when it's hard to listen". Are you willing to do the hard job of listening to people who may think, live or act very differently than you?
Are there folks in your life who you need to be reconciled with? What will you do to take steps toward reconciliation in 2021?
What is something you can do this week to better reflect Christ in your life and into your world? Don't be afraid to be specific.
